Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff, We are aware of a social media post this evening regarding many select schools being targeted for violence on Friday. We have continued working with local law enforcement representatives to investigate this swatting activity. Representatives from local law enforcement have shared that this has been taking place this week in various areas of West Virginia and has unfortunately reached Logan County. We will continue to work with law enforcement to ensure the safety of all students and staff members in our school system. Presently, law enforcement is preparing a plan to provide additional security at our schools on Friday. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this situation.
